So why did Rob leave the website? - 92 replies

Damn…I just noticed that Rob (socalwood) is no longer on my friends list. Then I read that he asked Martin to remove him from the website. What a shame that is! Rob is truly a nice guy and one of the few people I spoke via PM to. Who knows why he pulled out?

After market table saw fence...Ridgid 3650 - 19 replies

I am ready to replace the stock fence on my Ridgid TS3650 and there is a used Xacta fence and rail for $225.00 available. It’s a bit worn but it looks like it wouldn’t take a whole lot to make it useful again. I would like to get at least a 36” rip capability out of the new fence 50” would also suit me just fine. Before I...

Gun show tomorrow and I need a new handgun - 40 replies

I am heading to the gun show tomorrow and I need a new hand gun for plinking. I have a budget of $500.00. I would prefer a gun designed around the old venerable Colt 1911 frame. 45acp is ok but I would prefer 9mm for convenience as that would put my wife and I shooting the same ammo when we go out. I also like .357 revolvers and if I see o...

What a $150.00 worth of lumber looks like. - 12 replies

I went down to the local fence supply yard today and picked up a few pieces of cedar. While I was there I noticed a stack of rough sawn pine boards. Why parents drink. - 10 replies

A father passing by his son’s bedroom was astonished to see that his bed was nicely made and everything was picked up. Dear Dad: It is wi...
