I consider myself a beginning woodworker. What ever I know about woodworking comes from my middle school shop teachers and watching PBS. I have a few projects under my belt and have a good start on a home workshop.

I have learned how to sharpen chisels, and that it takes 6 stitches to close the hole that a 1" chisel makes when you slip and run it into your hand! At least I can still count to ten without taking my socks off.

My other hobby is R/C airplanes, and I design and kit my own planes. I'm self taught with AutoCAD and have used that to sketch up and design the woodworking pieces I've made so far.
