I got burned out on woodworking for awhile. I had some injuries. I'm getting going with furniture and casework again, with a more informed approach. My back problems are getting a lot better and I've made good on my long-term intention to get into making fine chairs. Marquetry is next.

I collect vintage machinery too.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom

Welcome to LumberJocks, Loren. Nice group of folks here. It’s usually better if what you like to do is less like work and more like fun. I do my woodworking professionally, but I don’t let my work load dictate my hours to the point of taking the fun out of the craft. We look forward to your experiences and projects.
