I have a "real" job that pays the bills and consists of being a professional mouse clicker... and then I have woodworking, which is what I really like doing. I am most interested in building custom furniture. I have recently been learning more about chair construction, steam bending, and related the related skills and tools necessary for handwork. I've always used power tools, and avoided anything you had to push, pull or twist ;-)

I think that building things is one of the great gifts from God, in that we can share in His creativity. In spite of my inevitable flaws, I always have a great sense of accomplishment after I've built something, and I enjoy the process too!

And finally, I sure like to learn new things, research and buy new tools (or make new tools), and come up with new ways of doing things. Woodworking is great way to achieve all of these things.
