I created a round kitchen breakfast table to fit into a nook in our kitchen to replace an older table that was unstable. It was a fun project and took about a week to complete.

Woods
Curly Cherry top with a Cocobolo base
Cherry pegs for accents and increased stability

Finish
Shellac wash coat with a arm-r-seal finish

Nice table. I’ve got material waiting for me to get my shop reestablished to build a similar table with Ambrosia maple top and Walnut base. How tough is arm-r-seal as a topcoat? I was planning on using Behlen Rockhard, but I bet arm-r-seal goes on easier…
