My wife recently became Doctor Cindy. She has been an audiologist for 16 years, but went back to school to become a Doctor of Audiology. Her very large diploma showed up and needed a nice, large frame. I made this frame of walnut with 1/4” strips of maple inlaid. It’s just finished with some BLO. I think it’ll stand out nicely on the wall of her office.

Congratulations to your wife. Awesome accomplishment. You made a great frame to show it off. I love the inlaid maple. It contrasts beautifully with the walnut.

Congratulation to her and very fine work with that frame. Crossed stripes look very nice.

Bill, it looks even better with the diploma in it. With the woodwork you do, you really should have a certificate for ‘Doctor of Wood’, as bambi said.

Thanks Bob and Bruce. I thought the same thing. The gold lettering on the diploma really works with the maple.
