After making drawings of the Fordson tractor I started with making a pattern for a VW bulli. Ducky helped with making a compleet SketchUp drawing. If you want to build your own you can purchase the pattern on my website. The first tree chaptors you can download for free. This build is much easier than the tractor, but it also was fun to build. The model is about 33 cm. I used mainly Ash and Cherry.

Wow Jan, this pretty incredible. I had a VW camper I bought new in the US which we had from 1975 to 1982 and shipped over to Norway in 1979. It was a bit newer model than the classic you have made here, but yours brings back a lot of pleasant memories . You have done some really wonderful work on this model, as you do on all your projects. The interior, luggage and luggage rack and well, the whole thing!

Here is my old one. Sorry about the photo quality, it was taken around 1975 and has faded quite a bit. My wife and I really loved it.

Your old one was the same as the one from Kiefer. See above.
