I made this recipe box for my daughter. I cut the “bears ears” dovetails on my Leigh Jig. I used a Shapeoko CNC router to cut the inlays and the message on the inside top of the box. The box is made of walnut and maple, and I used Brusso hinges.

Very nice gift! Those dovetails are neat – first time I have seen that style. Great project. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice job on the box, your daughter is a lucky girl. I really like the inlay detail. I like those Brusso hinges to, I helped my grandson make a jewelry box project and used those hinges on it so the lid would stay up as your box does.
