We wanted to design a bench which will be comfortable to sit and that would look as minimalist as possible. We had Japanese mid century style in our minds, this is the reason why the legs are massive and under 15 degrees. We are more or less satisfied with the outcome. Our design goal is to make furniture which will be like 3D puzzle so we didn`t use any glue or screws.
We also made a video about the making process.

That’s a very eye-catching bench. Nicely done!

I like the idea of no glue or screws for joints. This would look great on the patio surrounded by flowers.

Nice design. I hope the burned out background area was chosen for artistic contrast and not to show the aftermath of a few forgotten BLO laden rags.

It`s a good one! I was thinking kinda long what you`ve meant by that.. But I`m not native speaker too, don`t get the jokes too fast.
Well, we have an abandoned house near to our workshop. We don`t have a nice place where to take photos and we thought it would be at least an artistic picture. I am not sure if we are allowed to go there so don`t tell anyone :)

Great looking bench—would be nice in a bedroom when getting dressed!

Edit: Doesn’t look like your YouTube video is working…....
