Well guys I’m back with another finished project. This is the first one since my router table build. My wife had seen some of these online and liked them a lot. So I thought it would be a great next project and a really nice surprise for her. Oh yes and also lumberjock member Rick wanted to see something built using my new router table.

Nice looking piece, but my neck was getting stiff. How much work did you use the router table for? What is the finish brand, and how did you apply it.

Thanks for posting.

This is a very nice storage unit and you did a fine job on it.

I used the router table for all of the trim and the rails and stiles for the drawers. The white finish is valspar high gloss furniture paint. The top is stained with minwax jacobean 2750 and the clear is minwax fast dry polyurethane. I sprayed the white with a graco spraystation 2900 and the clear with a devilbiss hvlp gravity feed gun.

Thanks, maybe it’s just the computer, but that looks to be a brilliant white. Top only looks a “little” Jacobean, but you just have edge views of it. A figured top could really set all of that off.

I’m sneaking this around LOML she is a basket hag of huge proportion. I’m seeing something like this to do a 2 fer, on my Honey Do’s list.
