Mahogany slab table with amber and gold inlay, 10×4 feet.
Top is Mahogany, bases are Aleppo…Happy with this one, just a big, beautiful, heavy table.
Used the Rubio Monocoat for a finish, quite impressed with that finish as well.

Thanks leafherder! The Amber room was actually my inspiration when i started the Amber inlays years ago! It’s an interesting material to work with and always fun to find inclusions such as insects…

Thank you! This one weighs around 800 pounds, 400 for the top and the pillars are about 200 each…

Just amazing. I would love to hear more about your method for doing the inlays. Turquoise, amber, or gold you make them all look great.
