This is a project I’ve had in the back of my mind for quite a while now but never could get up the gumption to get it done.
I’ve been a lover of Toyota trucks for many years and have owned two Prerunners so it was just about time to try building a more modern vehicle which have a lot more shape to them then the older truck and car models I’ve built in the past.

Here’s the truck in my drive way.

And the truck in my shop. lol

I wish I hadn’t run out of oak for this build, oak and cherry would have really popped!
This is a scratch build made out of maple and cherry, and I used Watco Danish Oil for a finish.

That’s absolutely amazing. Such great detail. Will you add side mirrors once you get more wood?

the cherry accent piece were perfectly placed it looks to kewl #4 …. whats next ? GREAT JOB :<)) no doubt will get top 3 so GRATZ LOL

ralbuck I don’t know about easy but it would take twice as much lumber to get er done for sure, and would be way Kewl !!!
At least put it on your bucket list for down the road.

i believe what i appreciate most beyond your obvious skill and attention to detail, is that you chose a toyota 4runner of all vehicles you could have chosen.
