Shotgun box

For as long as I can remember my father had a Parker Brothers shotgun hanging on his wall. He eventually passed it on to me and this year I passed it on to his first grandson, now in his fifties. I did a deep cleaning on the gun and polished the stock.
The Walnut box is to house the gun in transport. Inside I cut foam to fit tightly around the part of the gun and fill the unused space. I covered it all in flannel like the old gun boxes were made. I think it all turned out to well.

Beautiful box for a really special shotgun. I’m sure his grandson will cherish both.
