Finsihed just in time for Christmas fair a few turned ornaments. I used red heart, cocobolo, and maple. The finnel in the cocobolo are cribbage pegs [maple] smoothed to a point. They are all about 4 1/2” long. These are just a few I made. I think in all did about 20 in all. Great little projects to relax you, as they are all differnent. You can just do what you feel. They are all finished with tung oil and then butcher boweling ally wax. I also used Sasafras, walnut, and butternut. Most of them were made of small scraps in the shop.

Wow, you were a busy guy making 20 ornaments! They look good AND like they were fun to make. I really like the red one on the left in the first pic.

I realy like your work! If they are 4 1/2” long did you use a 2” x 2” blank to start?

They are very festive and will look great on your tree.
