There are many hand held HVLP sprayers out there to choose from. I keep an eye on auctions and I see way too many returns of the Wagner Flexio sprayers. Granted, for every 200 Flexio’s, surely 1 has a fault. All these hand held sprayers are plastic, after all. To change it up, I went with the Homeright Finish Max since I own the small/large Homeright spray shelters. Great shelters so wanted to give the sprayer a shot. At a respectful price tag, as well via Amazon.
Right out of the box, I was able to spray outdoor paint after some thinning. Having never sprayed paint before, I can not reference other models or brands but this worked as advertised. Easy cleanup. Pretty basic. If you want a hand held under $100 paint sprayer, this gets the job done.

Looks like it got the job done, and that is all we can ask for at the end of the day.
