I have been woodworking for 30+ years. I hope to post more of my work in the coming months. Enjoy trying new concepts and design styles.

Grew up on a farm in Iowa (between Renwick and Hardy). Engineering education at Iowa State in Ames (BSME). Masters at Stanford.

Employed with Hewlett Packard since 1982 in Vancouver, Wa.

Retired in 2017 to make time for woodworking (& other things)

Thanks all for the welcomes. For the last month, I have been spending WAY too much time on this site. Since it seems to be permanent, I figured I might as well join. Looks like a great site with a lot of great people. I look forward to sharing and learning.

Welcome to Lumberjocks. The projects are an inspiration, the information is priceless and the people are supportive. The only problem is, the site can get addictive.

God Bless
tom
