Hi all,

I have a questions for you Ryobi AP-10 planer owners (or previous owners). I noticed that when I have the machine powered on, and the height set, the adjustment handle seems like it wants to vibrate and move.

For example, if I have the handle sticking straight up and I power the machine on, it seems like the handle wants to drift a bit. I checked the bolt holding it onto the machine, and it’s tight. It doesn’t seem like it will move a lot, but it still moves a little. Out of paranoia, I’ve started holding the handle while using the planer. I’ve not noticed this before, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t been doing this before.

Any ideas on why this is happening?
