I received both the LN dovetail saw and the Gyokucho 372 Razor Saw Dotsuki Takebiki Saw.

My initial thoughts after making a few test cuts side by side with all 3 saws (I know I did say I have an Adira saw also) was the Adira has to go. The LN saw is a bigger saw, the handle fits my hand much better than the Adira. The LN saw in also longer and cuts much faster. At this point I’m really liking the LN saw.

The Gyokuch 372, all I can is at this point is it cuts well (but slower than the LN) and the saw kerf is narrower than than the LN or Adira.

Obviously It too early for a good evaluation of the saws. I’be posting more down the road as use the LN and Gyokucho. I can say with some certainty the Adira is out in favor of the LN saw. It’s all so possitalbe I’ll end up using both the LN and Gyokucho.

Looks like a good setup. It’s nice to have variety,I also have a Adria Dt saw I don’t use it very often but it has its place. When I want to cut very slowly on thin boards. 3/8 or less.

I really like my Dozuki for dovetails. I get more control with the “pull” action

True, however I find with using my Dozuki that it can be much harder to control the twisting introduced while using the straight handle vs. a western style handle. I do like the Dozuki, but can be as much of a challenge in it’s own right.

Sweet. After some use the LN gets a little less grabby. It’s a solid saw.
